Nicaragua La Bastilla Estate
La Bastilla Estate was established in 2003, and is one of the few specialty coffee estates in Nicaragua to have a fully integrated supply chain and be certified Rainforest Alliance. At their wet and dry processing plants, coffee is processed depending on where it is grown on the farm and the coffee variety.
This coffee is Naturally Processed - which involves selective hand picking of very ripe cherries and a long slow drying process that occurs in two stages. The details of this process are a trade secret implemented by mill manager, Victor.
The Nicaragua La Bastilla Estate Natural is roasted to create an amazingly complex coffee that has a delicious blueberry finish. Enjoy it black or with milk.
